I had someone today who hadn't seen the Terry Tate: Office linebacker meme. Since I liked it so much the first time I think time for a revisit.

I have a new laptop, installed Ubuntu 8.04 on it and so far everything has just worked. Sound, wireless, 3d acceleration, bluetooth. Everything.

This game is probably going to suck hard but this is the best name I have ever seen. "Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ

Dammit I'm going to have to get new shoes. I have worn my sneakers to death.

Took a bag of Mandarins that I picked off our tree to work today. The were gone so quickly the floor was awash with the smell of citrus.

I now have seven people clamoring to take up my offer for bags of them.

Since my car was overdue for a service, I took the day off to organise that and since we were on the mainland we decided to make the most of it. However we just weren't sure what that would be.

So far we have wandered through the Andy Wahol exhibition. Marcus added to the kids art wall and both children adored the silver clouds and the replica brillo and heinz boxes. Talya discovered that a brillo box is just the right size to act as a push along walking aid. Marcus on the other hand decided to stack them into the back of a truck and then deliver them.

After picking up the car we felt like a cruise and we headed north. With a quick stop on the bruce hwy to fix my email server (ssh on blackberry FTW!), we are now at gympie and still going.

I also tried Ma Po rice today, delicious and Marcus liked the Tofu in it as well.

Kat you should be getting email now.

Looks loke my desktop harddrive has died. I'm running out of parts. Looks like I will have to bite the bullet and buy a new pc. I've been planning on getting an eeepc with the 9" screen due out later this year however I might go for the current model and forgo getting a new desktop.

I have proof that Cut-Me-Own-Throat Dibbler has moved the Victoria Point and is working for Bunnings.

And now I'm heading home. I was right it wasn't our equipment. It was a loose cable in the datacentre's demarcation rack. Pushed it in 2mm and it the link came up.
